Eric Louis is a family-run wine estate in the Loire region, founded in 1860 and now in its 4th generation. The Eric Louis wine estate covers more than 35 hectares of vines on 60 different plots. The vineyard is currently undergoing conversion to Organic Farming with High Environmental Value.

Eric Louis Pouilly Fumé Blanc AOP

This white wine from the Loire is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc, one of the typical grape varieties of the Loire, planted on the Pouilly Fumé terroir, which is dominated by flint. The grapes are harvested at night when they are fully ripe in order to retain as much freshness and aroma as possible. This pure, mineral white wine from Pouilly Fumé has a pretty pale gold colour and an expressive, fruity nose. On the palate, it is very fresh and round, with a strong mineral profile thanks to the terroir of the Pouilly Fumé appellation. You can enjoy Pouilly Fumé white wine at a temperature of 10 to 12°C with fish, white meat, seafood, a platter of fresh goat's cheese or as an aperitif.
