This benchmark cuvée from Pol Roger is a well-balanced blend of the 3 Champagne grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay). This champagne is a blend of 30 different champagne crus. What makes the Pol Roger style so enduring is its exceptional stock of reserve wines. Depending on the year, up to 25% of a bottle of Pol Roger champagne is made up of reserve wines.
The colour is a beautiful straw yellow, with a fine, elegant string of bubbles. The nose evokes notes of fruit such as pear and mango, followed by floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. The second nose is more marked by notes of fresh brioche and vanilla. The palate confirms the fruity and pastry notes, with an added impression of roasted hazelnuts.
