Do you know the Cave de Turckheim?

The Cave de Turckheim is an Alsatian wine cooperative that has been in existence since 1955. It brings together more than 200 winegrowers from the region and cultivates around 350 hectares of vines. This cooperative cellar takes its name from the town in which it is located, "Turckheim". Quite simply, the member farmers are mainly in the villages neighbouring the Turckheim cellar. The advantage of the cooperative cellar is the diversity of soils cultivated, with vines growing in limestone, clay and granite soils. This diversity of soils gives the wines completely different aromas and characters.

Pinot Noir from the Cave de Turckheim

As indicated in its name, the Pinot Noir from the Cave de Turckheim is a single grape variety, and is of course Pinot Noir. This Alsace red wine has a lovely bright ruby red colour with aromas of red fruit (cherry, raspberry and strawberry). On the palate, the tannins are light and the texture is silky and refreshing, with a hint of acidity on the finish. You can enjoy this Turckheim red wine with white meat, soft cheese platters, quiches and pizzas. Enjoy this Alsace pinot noir!
