The Parallèle 45 Rouge des Côtes du Rhône Bio Paul Jaboulet Ainé is a wine that embodies the generosity and complexity of Rhône Valley wines. This half-bottle of organic wine presents intense aromas of black fruits and garrigue. On the palate, this wine reveals a velvety texture and flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant, and thyme. The tannins are silky, providing a beautiful length. The finish is persistent, with notes of licorice and black pepper. All this is the result of the blend of Grenache and Syrah. These two grape varieties contribute notes of red fruits as well as a velvety texture, while the Syrah adds spicy notes and tannic structure.
The terroir on which the vines of this Côtes du Rhône grow enjoys a Mediterranean climate, and the plots benefit from optimal sunshine. The soil is composed of rounded pebbles and schist, which ultimately gives the wine its minerality.
