Description
This Domaine OTT Chateau Romassan Red Bandol has a garnet red color, its nose is rather complex with notes of red fruits, wild strawberry, leather, spice but also a nice freshness with liquorice notes. Nice attack, the tannins are round, and the whole is smooth and there is a nice expression in the mouth. Mourvèdre 80% and Grenache 20%. Located on a poor ground, mainly made up of limestone, sandstone and marls of the upper marine Cretaceous. An acidity of the soil and a low rainfall compensated by the sea air of the Gulf of Bandol make sweet wines to discover absolutely. Château de Selle and Clos Mireille and Château Romassan are the 3 components of the Domain OTT. Château Romassan is a former religious establishment with 60 hectares of vines on different plots of the AOC Bandol.
