Description
The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru "Charmes " is produced by Domaine Michelot in Burgundy. This Premier Cru is situated on the border between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, on a mid-slope with a regular slope of between 3 and 6%. The clay-limestone soil with red earth and a subsoil composed of flat stones allows the root system to develop well, bringing finesse and minerality to the wine. This Meursault has a fine minerality with citrus notes, where the fatness is always present but without heaviness. The hazelnut aromas of Chardonnay appear after 8 to 10 years of cellaring. A perfect accompaniment to fish, shellfish and foie gras.
