Description
The 2019 vintage red wine from DOURO is a Portuguese wine from Quinta do Crasto.
It presents a dark robe, with highly intense aromas that vividly reflect the sun's influence on the vineyards, despite the average altitude of 600 meters of the Quinta do Crasto vines.
Initially, floral notes emerge, followed by hints of black fruits. In the mouth, the tannic texture is present but relatively supple. The notes of black fruits persist in a beautiful length.
Douro wines form the basis of Port wines, so it's natural to find the same grape varieties such as Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Touriga Franca. Quinta do Crasto hand-harvests its parcels and brings the grapes to the press in crates. The quality of the grapes brought to the press is of utmost importance.
