This tasting beer has spent 3 months in barrels previously containing red wine from the Côtes du Rhône. The result is a delightful beer, perfect for a meal, characterized by notes of very ripe red fruits, caramel, and nuts, including almonds and walnuts. The palate is subtly sweet, evoking concentrated licorice (ZAN for the nostalgic), raw cocoa, vanilla, and malt.
