Description

This Sancerre Rouge Géneration XIX by Alphonse Mellot for the 2013 vintage has a deep, deep ruby ​​color. The nose is rich in ripe fruit, such as blackberry, blueberry and morello cherry and offers spicy notes; pink pepper, vanilla, cinnamon. The attack on the palate is powerful, generous: it envelops and lines. The fruits and spices accompany a superb oak with ripe tannins.

A Great Wine !!! Here Pinot Noir is old and therefore deeply rooted.

The Sancerre Cuvée Génération is produced on a plot of more than 60 years old (Chambratte and Paradis). Average yield: 21 hl / ha. Harvesting is carried out in small boxes of 25 Kg. All the grapes have been sorted using a vibrating table followed of a sorting table and routed destemmed in the tanks by carpet.
Aging is carried out in new barrels for an average duration of 14 months. The production of the Cuvée Génération is 2,800 bottles.
