Description

The Burg 2017 vintage from Domaine Marcel DEISS offers an astonishing color marked by gray reflections. The nose is fruity, marked by citrus fruits and minerals. The palate is mineral, almost “petroleum”, powerful and ample.

The Burg terroir, facing south on the edge of Bergheim. It is a so-called "late" terroir which allows each vintage to produce a great, powerful, complex and structured wine, with very long aging potential, marked by the presence of noble rot, from great traditional Alsatian planted grape varieties.
