Description

This Organic pinot gris wine (white wine) from Domaine Marcel Deiss has a golden robe with aromas of hazelnuts and white flowers, then it opens with fresh fruit, quince, orange. In the mouth there is a nice freshness, a powerful and muscular body, then a long, tense and complex finish. This great wine will accompany mixed meats and sauces, autumn vegetables, the whole heart of the meal. Aging potential: 10 years. The DOMAINE MARCEL DEISS is located in Bergheim, a small town nestled in the heart of wine-producing Alsace. Coming from an old family of winegrowers since 1744, Marcel Deiss chose at 18 to join the army, he returned to his land after the Second World War. He developed with his son André, his small land heritage to make it a dynamic wine company recognized worldwide today. Currently the estate is managed by Jean-Michel Deiss, and operates 27 hectares of vines spread over 9 municipalities.
