Description
Château Lyonnat, Lussac Saint Emilion
This Bordeaux red wine is produced by Château Lyonnat in the Lussac Saint Emilion appellation in the Libourne region, north of the famous Saint Emilion appellation. This is the estate's main cuvée, produced from 32 hectares of vines planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. These different grape varieties are blended to make this emblematic cuvée, which accounts for around 140,000 bottles produced each year. 50% of the wine is matured in French oak barrels for 12 months, with the remainder aged in concrete vats.
