Description

The Grand Ardeche Chardonnay Wine by Louis Latour has a delicate nose of white flowers accompanied by woody notes that will diminish over time. Still young, it is round, balanced and harmonious on the palate. It will reach its peak in 2 to 3 years. A superb Grand Ardèche !!! The grape used for this Louis Latour Grand Ardèche is 100% Chardonnay, the special climatic conditions and optimal sunshine found in the Ardèche ensure perfect ripening of the Chardonnay bunches. The Mistral eliminates the risks of gray mold development at the end of the season. The Louis Latour Grand Ardèche is made according to rules identical to those applied to Grand Cru wines from Côte d´Or. At harvest time, only fully ripe grapes are harvested and pressed using pneumatic presses, then the grape juices are fermented in oak barrels from the Latour cooperage. This wine is powerful, supple, with persistent notes of exotic fruits and spicy vanilla.
