The history of Licor 43 goes back to the time of the Romans when they conquered the city of Cartagena in Spain. When they discovered this golden elixir flavoured with herbs and fruit, they decided to ban its production and consumption by the entire population. But the inhabitants of Cartagena continue to make it secretly for their own personal consumption.
Tasting Licor 43
Licor 43 takes its name from its recipe of 43 natural ingredients. This Spanish liqueur has an attractive golden colour and an expressive nose of citrus fruits, spices and ripe fruits. On the palate, the attack is floral and lemony, with hints of coriander and a finish of vanilla and orange.
