Description
The PEATED is a Japanese peated whiskey distilled by the Kurayoshi Distillery. This whiskey is aged in white oak bourbon casks. The big wave on the label of the bottle perfectly illustrates the intrinsic strength of this whiskey. The nose offers beautiful aromas of grilled malted cereals, oily peat and smoke and then vanilla. The palate is reminiscent of toasted oak, brown sugar, vanilla and a hint of fruity with notes of smoke. The finish is long and marked by peat smoke and green apple.
