Description
This Japanese Blend whiskey is produced by the Hinotori distillery, which began its activity at the end of the Second World War in 1949. The strong presence of American soldiers boosted the demand for whiskeys.
This 5-year-old blend is a blend of grain and malt whiskeys, aging takes place for 5 years in American white oak barrels. It is non-chill filtered.
The result is a beautiful Japanese whiskey with a slightly golden color. The nose evokes notes of malted barley and dried nuts, such as hazelnut and almonds. The palate offers notes of toast and sweet spices including vanilla. The finish is quite long, fresh and round thanks to non-cold filtration.
