Yamazakura Blend Whisky is a perfect blend of 4 fine malt and grain whiskies. This distillery is expanding its catalogue of Japanese spirits with this Yamazakura Blended, matured in Bourbon casks. It is distinguished, rich and sophisticated, offering a deeper insight into the fine spirits produced in the Land of the Rising Sun, with a host of new flavours. Yamazakura takes its name from 2 Japanese emblems: "Yama" which comes from mountain, and Sakura which refers to cherry trees, the symbol of ephemeral beauty.
Tasting this Japanese whisky
This whisky has an attractive golden colour. On the nose, notes of elderflower, malt, caramel and iodine appear, making it both delicate and smooth. On the palate, it's slightly oily, with hints of pear, vanilla, cereal and citrus. The finish is one of iodine, vanilla and cereals.
