Arran Quarter Cask "The Bothy" is first aged in Bourbon barrels

These are barrels of first filling for 7 long years, then it is refined in small barrels of 125 liters for 2 years to increase its contact with wood.

Unlike the robust Arran Sherry Cask "The Bodega", "The Bothy" is rounder and softer than its twin with a cask strength bottling at 56.2°.

This expression takes us on a journey through flavors of tropical fruits, cocoa, vanilla and sweet spices.

Arran Quarter Cask “The Bothy” gets a makeover under the new Arran range and gains in maturation.

Initially aged in first fill bourbon barrels for 7 years, The Bothy is then matured in small 125 liter American oak barrels for an additional 2 years for an even more intense exchange with the wood.

Bottled at 56.20% cask strength, The Bothy offers roundness and sweetness, but also aromatic power.
A perfect contrast to its twin Arran Sherry Cask “The Bodega”, which presents character and robustness.
