Description

This whiskey from the Island of Islay has been aged in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martin located in Jerez in Spain for at least 5 years. Beyond the classic characteristics of Kilchoman whiskeys we find notes of citrus fruits and candied orange zest on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively, it is also sweet in a second phase, the notes of candied oranges become clearer then floral notes and peat take over. The finish is long and sweet.

The contribution of aging in Sherry PX barrels is remarkable.
