Description
The grandiose Teeling Whiskey Company
This great name in Irish whiskies was originally created in 1782 by the Teeling family, and has been producing nothing but good whiskey ever since. The Teeling Whiskey Company was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012. Initially, the brothers sourced their whiskey from Cooley, the former distillery of the family pioneer (the father). In June 2015, they set up in Dublin, the first distillery in the Irish capital in over 125 years.
Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
On the nose, this whisky is already showing us that it's going to be gourmet, with a lovely note of vanilla and sweet spices and sweet hints of molasses rum. It reveals an astonishing variety of citrus fruits, cereals and black fruits. On the palate, it's smooth and delicately fruity (apricot, rhubarb, sultanas), with a hint of chocolate as the glass warms. The finish is light on spices and oak.
