Irish Single Malt Whiskey, distilled three times from Irish barley. The finishing is done in oak barrels in which brown Kombu algae have been burned. It gives an iodized and saline side.
Description
CURRACH Single Malt IRISH WHISKEY Finished in Atlantic KOMBU Seaweed Cask.
The nose of this whiskey is clearly marked by these Kombu algae, which gives iodized and saline aromas. Then pastry notes and smoky notes appear. In the mouth we feel notes of salted butter caramel, then notes of iodine and smoke. The whole thing is very supple and round in the mouth. The finish asserts itself with notes of smoke, pepper and toast.
