THOMPSON Brothers Highlands Single Malt Whisky TEANINICH 2013-2023 10 years 50°.
This whisky was casked on 7 February 2013 and 482 bottles were produced in 2023. This fine Highlands single malt whisky comes from a distillery that is currently closed. This 10-year-old whisky spent most of its time in a Hogshead, then benefited from a finish in a STOUT beer cask.
The result is a whisky with a nose of cereals and yeast, and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Then notes of undergrowth take over. n the palate, there's plenty of power, with notes of wood and roasting and a fairly fresh finish that evokes the essence of pine.
