Collection Vin Rouge by domaine J.Mourat
The Collection Rouge wine is a creation of Domaine J.Mourat, a family-run winery since 1974 located in the Loire Valley. J.Mourat cultivates 34 hectares of vines in the Loire Valley with 7 different grape varieties (Chenin Blanc, Chardonay, Pinot Noir, Gamay, Sauvignon Gris, Pinot Gris and Melon de Bourgogne).
Presentation of the cuvée collection Rouge
Collection Rouge is a blend of 2 great Loire Valley grape varieties: Pinot Noir, which dominates, and Gamay. The grapes from these 2 varieties are harvested by hand, sorted and then vinified in large stainless steel vats. This red wine is much appreciated with red meats and cheese platters thanks to its light tannins and its aromas of red fruit which give the wine freshness.
