Côte Rôtie Château Ampuis 2018 by Guigal has a dark and deep color with mauve reflections, aromas of spices, black fruits and delicate aromas of wood. The nose is dense, expressive and intense. Tannic and racy wine. Aromas of prunes, blackberries and vanilla. Mouth powerful, concentrated and structured. Wine from a muscular and tannic vintage, forged by a warm climate. The tannins are very strong but softened by prolonged ripening under wood. Winemaking in closed stainless steel tanks. Temperatures of controlled alcoholic fermentations. 4 week vatting time
