El Pasador de Oro distillery in Guatemala
The El Pasador de Oro distillery was recently created by 2 friends with a passion for spirits. They are Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech, who have also launched their own brand of French whisky, Bellevoye. The rums from this distillery are distilled in Guatemala before being imported to France for ageing in Cogna casks.
El Pasador des Oro Gran Reserva rum
This rum is distilled in Guatemala before being aged and matured in Cognac casks in the Charante region of France. The nose is very rich, with aromas of exotic fruit, vanilla, caramel, honey and sugar cane. On the palate, you'll find sweetness with a warm sensation thanks to the chocolate and caramel. There are also slightly spicy notes of cinnamon and pepper. This Gran Réserva XO rum can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a fruity dessert or simply as a digestif.
