Description

Domaine Trimbach Riesling "Clos Ste Hune" 2015

 

This cuvée is one of the star wines of Domaine Trimbach, but it deviates from the usual great Trimbach cuvées as it is made solely from the Riesling grape variety grown on the limestone terroir of Rosacker in the grand cru at Hunawihr. The south-facing exposure of this terroir, combined with this fabulous 1.67-hectare plot, produces a wine that is discreet in its youth. It will take at least 10 years to reach its peak. And then, you'll discover a perfect harmony between a high concentration of fruit, a lot of subtle minerality, and an incredible length.
