Description

Château Mouton Rothschild 2005 Premier Cru Classé Pauillac 75 cl. Château Mouton Rothschild has 84 hectares of vines. The harvest is done manually, the average age of the vines is 44 years. This exceptional vintage comes from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 85%, Merlot 14% and Carbernet Franc 1%. The wine is solid, cut to wait for years, on the nose it has notes of liquorice and blackcurrant. The whole is very very pretty, silky. The tannins are firm and dense. Open 2 hours minimum before tasting. Can be kept until 2040 without problem.
