Description
This GLEN MORAY Elgin Heritage 12 Year Old whiskey is a Speyside Single Malt, with a very classic style. Aging in Bourbon barrels for 12 years gives this Speyside a beautiful light amber color. the nose is floral and vegetal, it also reminds us of fresh almonds and notes of salted butter caramel. the palate is clearly marked by the woodiness, then it reveals notes of fruit such as apricots and vine peach.
A very classic whiskey but so good!! Glen Moray has, however, made a specialty in the finishing of its whiskeys, this distillery located on the banks of the Lossie in the village of Elgin does not hesitate to carry out finishing tests with a wide variety of barrels, and It's often a good surprise.
