Gérard Bertrand is a winegrower from Languedoc-Roussillon and a leading figure in French wine. Born into a family of winemakers at Château de Villemajou, Gérard Bertrand inherited a passion for wine and the cultivation of the vine. Soon after studying oenology, he became one of the most renowned winegrowers in the region. He bought and developed several estates in different appellations in the south of France, using responsible agriculture and respecting the environment.

This rosé wine is produced by winegrower Gérard Bertrand, who takes a sustainable and environmentally-friendly approach to his work, particularly in the vineyards. The pale pink colour is characteristic of gris blanc, and is produced during maceration of the grapes thanks to the pigments in the skins. The grape variety used to make this rosé wine is Grenache gris, which gives it plenty of freshness and aromas. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers and white fruits such as pear and peach. On the palate, the gris blanc is very soft on the fruit, with plenty of roundness and a hint of acidity on the finish.
