Description
Iconic of the mountains, the genepi appeals to connoisseurs and lovers of herbaceous and fine liquors. Mugwort is a 40-60 cm perennial, herbaceous with silky leaves, greyish green above and silvery green below. Yellow flowers, grouped in small globular heads. Flowering: July to September. Very bitter flavor. Habitat: temperate regions, uncultivated land, dry wasteland near villages. There are several kinds of sagebrush: common sagebrush (artemisia vulgaris), wormwood (artemisia absinthium), tarragon (artemisia dracunculus), wild sagebrush (artemisia campetris), but also on the global designation of genepi (artemisia glacialis, mutellina).
