WARCOVE Single Malt Whiskey 50 cl by the 2 Caps brewery. Here is the single malt that Christophe Noyon, from the Basserie des 2 Caps in Tardinghem, has in mind. A 3 year old single malt whiskey aged in new fine grain oak barrels then finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. Despite its youth, the alcohol attack quickly fades to give way to a nice balance and a surprisingly long finish. Lover of fruity whiskey marked by notes of pear and peach, you will find what you are looking for.

Note that this single malt was made only from barley grown in fields on the Opal Coast. This is what Christophe Noyon means when he speaks of maritime barley.

The Brasserie des 2 Caps revives a family tradition of distillation which started in 1946, when his grandfather started the Warcove distillery. It is in homage to this family event that the name of this single malt was chosen.
Production was limited to 3 barrels. We will have to wait 2 years in 2024 to be able to taste the next Batch.
