Domaine Eric Louis Les Celliers de la Pauline

Domaine Eric Louis has been established in the Sancerre appellation in the Loire for 4 generations. The estate was founded in 1860 by Pauline, hence the name Les Celliers de la Pauline. Today, the Eric Louis vineyard covers 35 hectares spread over 60 different plots with different terroirs: white earth, stony earth and clay-siliceous earth. In 2019, the estate will be certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnemental), meaning that it is in the process of converting to organic farming.

Sancerre Blanc by Eric Louis

This Sancerre wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety widely used for white wines in the Loire region. The grapes are harvested at night and very early in the morning to preserve their aromas and freshness. On tasting, the colour of this white Sancerre is pale gold. On the nose, an aromatic bouquet of citrus fruit, exotic fruit and pineapple. On the palate, the flavours are expressive with exotic fruit, balance, freshness and finesse. Eric Louis Sancerre Blanc should be served at a temperature of 10 to 12°C with an aperitif, seafood, poultry or fish.
