Dzama is a distillery located on the island of Nosy Be, off the coast of Madagascar. Founded in 1980 by the Fohine family, it quickly established itself as one of the island's most emblematic rum producers. The distillery controls every stage of production, from the sugar cane plantations to the rum-making process, thanks to its own sugar factory. This control ensures high quality at every stage of the process.

Dzama takes its name from the initials of "Dzamandzar", the village where the distillery is located. In this village, rum production has been a deeply rooted tradition in the local culture for decades.

Tasting

The Cuvée Blanche Prestige de Dzama is a particularly meticulous product. Worked like an Arrangé, this white rum is the fruit of a maceration of different rums, fruits and spices in casks containing Scotch whisky. It is then charcoal-filtered to give it perfect clarity, while preserving its aromas.
