Voted Best Brand Wine of Bordeaux for several years in a row, Michel Rolland, famous oenologist, is at the origin of this cuvée. Dourthe N ° 1 Rouge offers an intense garnet red color. The nose offers aromas of red and black fruits as well as woody and spicy notes. The mouth is supple and full, full in roundness, the tannic structure is well balanced. The finish is long and slightly smoky. For Dourthe N ° 1 Rouge, remarkable work is carried out in the Bordeaux red vineyard to identify the areas most conducive to complete maturity of the Merlot and Cabernet grape varieties. A real partnership with the winegrowers guarantees an optimal and regular quality. From the cultivation of the vine to the harvest, winegrowers work closely with Dourthe oenologists. The best lots of Dourthe N ° 1 Rouge benefit from 12 months aging in new French oak barrels.
