Normindia Gin is distilled in a still originally reserved for making Calvados. Not surprisingly, the list of ingredients includes apples, seven of which are kept secret: juniper, apple, citrus fruit, cinnamon, coriander, cloves, ginger and lily. Located in Grandparigny in the Manche département of Normandy, Domaine de Coquerel has been producing Calvados since 1937, from around forty varieties of cider apples and pears. In 2015, Pierre Martin-Neuhaus acquired the company with the intention of creating a Gin, inspired by a recipe for juniper distillate dating back to 1765. Normindia Gin was born after a great deal of experimentation, maceration and micro-distillation.

Tasting Normindia Gin:

After several days' maceration in stainless steel vats, the ingredients are distilled in a small copper still. This supple, fruity and refreshing gin can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails. A must for all gin lovers. Dominant aromas and flavours: citrus, flowers, apple, sweet spices, long on the palate, mellow.
