Presentation of the Diplomatico distillery
The Diplomatico distillery was founded in 1959 in the Miel region of Venezuela. The rums produced at the Diplomatico distillery are made to the highest standards, using only the finest sugar cane. The distillery also distinguishes its rums by ageing them in bourbon, sherry and French wine casks. These different casks give the rums great complexity and astonishing new flavours.
The Collection N°3 Pot Still a Rhum Diplomatico
This rum from Venezuela is one of the Diplomatico distillery's premium rums, aged in copper stills. The Pot Still N°3 amber is made from sugar cane molasses before being distilled in copper stills. Diplomatico has made this rum a benchmark with aromas of caramel, vanilla and spices. On the palate, the rum is well-balanced and has a lovely texture. It is best enjoyed neat and at room temperature to get the most out of its rich aroma.
