Description
De Venoge is a historic Champagne House located in Épernay, Champagne. The Brut Cordon Bleu carries a reference to the ancient Order of the Holy Spirit, the most prestigious chivalric order of the French monarchy, whose members wore a blue ribbon called the "Cordon Bleu."
It is composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and the remaining 25% is Pinot Meunier, with the use of a total of 25% Reserve wines. This is followed by aging on lees for a good 3 years, but this is only the beginning of a potential bottle aging process that this Champagne can handle.
The liveliness of the bubbles amplifies the olfactory tones of white flowers, delicate yellow fruit pulps, butter, and hints of dry pastries. The fresh and flavorful finish discreetly fits into a framework of round sweetness and lingers in a very balanced memory.
Perfect for lively gatherings with friends or to accompany a vegetable flan.
