Description
This blend of Caribbean rums designed by Oliver Chilton, the master blender of Black TOT, is close to the style of Royal Navy rum. You will love the power of the nose marked by spices such as cinnamon and cloves but also orange zest. The palate is suave and reminiscent of salted butter caramel, the link to the orange notes translates more into notes of marmalade, then the spice notes envisaged on the nose appear. The finish is very long and tends towards notes of rum grapes, chocolate and nutmeg and a hint of smoke.
To the 2022 blend which serves as the basis for this 2023 release, a very old rum from Grenada was added as well as rums from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana.
