Description
This Notaris Cuvée from Château Clos du Notaire in Côtes de Bourg has a beautiful garnet color, the concentrated nose is marked by red fruit with a hint of spice when aired. The mouth of this very beautiful Côtes de Bourg is powerful without being too demonstrative, the wood is elegant, 50% of the cuvée is spent in the barrel and the finish is really long. He is a fine representative of the appellation. The Notaris cuvée is a cuvée resulting from a choice of the most promising plots on each vintage but also from plots in old vines which helps with a greater concentration than the Château Clos du Notaire. This 21 hectare domain overlooks the confluence of the Garonne and the Dordogne. The label includes the Latin quote "Bonum vinum laetificat cor homnis" which means "Good wine delights the hearts of men" which is even more true with this very beautiful bottle!
