Description

Les Blancs Closeaux 2023, produced by Domaine Pierre et Bertrand Couly, is an exceptional white wine from the Chinon appellation. Made exclusively from Chenin Blanc grown on clay-limestone soils, this wine has a pale gold colour with green highlights.

On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of white flowers, acacia and honey. On the palate, it has a lively attack with notes of peach, developing into a round, soft wine underpinned by a fine minerality.

Aged on the lees with regular stirring of the lees, this wine is full-bodied and fleshy on the palate, making it a gastronomic white, ideal for bold culinary combinations. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to cooked or grilled fish, asparagus or a regional goat's cheese.
