Château Haut Marbuzet 2002 in magnum is a very fine Saint-Estèphe with an unbeatable price-pleasure ratio. This wine from Duboscq et Fils is a top-class Bordeaux red. On the nose, it has fresh, lively notes of black fruit, complemented by subtle aromas of liquorice and spices. On the palate, it is both smooth and powerful, with a long, refreshing finish. Black fruit flavours dominate, giving a sensation of sweetness and purity. Hints of liquorice add a touch of richness and complexity, while spice completes the picture with a note of warmth.
The climate in 2022 was particularly favourable for winegrowing in Bordeaux.
