Description
Chiroubles Cœur de Granit Unmissable Beaujolais red wine
Made from an entirely Gamay grape variety, Cœur de Granit is the fruit of an assortment of old vines producing very small grapes, with a long vinification process accompanied by careful ageing. Cœur de Granit is a wine of great purity and character. It has a deep ruby colour. On the nose, aromas of wild strawberry make it complex, with hints of intense red fruit. On the palate, this wine is rather round with silky tannins.
Coeur de Granit, life in the cellar at Château Chénas
Moulin à Vent, Chénas, Morgon, Juliénas, Fleurie, Côte de Brouilly, Chiroubles, Régnié, Saint Amour, Brouilly, Beaujolais Blancs and Beaujolais Villages. Some of the Chénas and Moulin à Vent vintages were aged in oak barrels in a vaulted cellar. Their construction is even known to date back to the century of King Louis XIV.
