The Taittinger Champagne House

Taittinger cultivates vines on just over 288 hectares, giving the estate a wide variety of soils in which to produce their different cuvées. Taittinger has changed the way it cultivates its vines by switching to sustainable agriculture, which limits the use of chemicals in order to preserve the richness of the soil. All the grapes are harvested by hand, so that the first selection can be made to preserve the consistency and quality of the house's champagnes.

This brut champagne is made from 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. Once blended, the champagne is fermented a second time in bottle before being aged for a further 3 to 4 years in the Taittinger cellars. On the nose, this champagne offers plenty of freshness, fruit and white flowers. On the palate, there is a good balance between long freshness and liveliness. Taittinger Brut Prestige is ideal with a seafood platter, an aperitif with friends or family, fish or a festive dessert.
