Description
The solera is a wine ageing method used in Andalusia for Sherry, but which is also perfectly suited to Champagne wines. This method ensures continuity and consistency in the style of wine produced by a particular house.
Part of the wine from the previous year's older cask is blended with the new year's wine.
This A.BERGERE champagne is a Blanc de Blanc, which means that it is made from the white Chardonnay grape variety. It has a brilliant pale yellow colour. The nose offers notes of white flowers, citrus fruit and white-fleshed fruit.
The string of bubbles is fine and elegant.
On first taste, this champagne is very fresh and mineral, followed by pastry notes reminiscent of brioche pastry and honey.
The finesse of the bubbles gives a pleasant creamy sensation.
It is the perfect companion for seafood and festive dishes.
