Description
This Bollinger La Côte aux Enfants champagne is a Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru champagne from the village of Aÿ. These Pinot Noirs come from a single plot which is the Côte aux Enfants which has been in the hands of Bollinger since 1926. This formidable prestige vintage from Bollinger illustrates all the know-how of this house with the Pinot Noir grape variety.
When tasting this prestigious vintage of champagne, you will love its beautiful golden color and this cord of very fine bubbles. On the nose, it is the roasted and toasted notes which are expressed first before giving more space to floral notes as well as notes of nuts such as hazelnuts and almonds, then spicy notes which evoke the cinnamon appear. The palate evokes notes of fruit and honeyed notes. The finish is extremely long and slightly bitter and saline.
