CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY 2021 domaine du château Philippe le Hardi 75 cl
Description
This Chambolle-Musigny comes from vines composed of Pinot Noir vines planted in 19853-1963 and 2014 with a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare.
Despite a fairly versatile 2021 vintage, this Chambolle-Musigny offers a beautiful aromatic palette composed of red fruits and black fruits, floral and spicy notes. The palate of this red burgundy wine is fresh, the tannins are invigorating, the fruit notes are confirmed.
The Philippe le Bold estate is known for its castle with a varnished tile roof. Formerly this castle was called the Château de Santenay and was owned by the Dukes of Burgundy. The wine estate covers 98 hectares across several appellations in Côtes de Beaune and Côtes Chalonnaises.
Jean-Philippe Archambaud, formerly of Chapoutier and Louis Latour, has overseen the destiny of this beautiful estate since 2019.
