Description

Cahors Cuvée Le Cèdre 2020 is an exceptional red wine produced by Château du Cèdre, one of the jewels in the crown of the Cahors appellation. This 100% Malbec wine is made from vines aged between 29 and 50 years, grown organically on clay-limestone and pebble terroirs.

The natural vinification process, with no oenological inputs, and the 24-month ageing period in tuns and barrels give this wine remarkable structure and great elegance. On tasting, it reveals a dense black colour, an expressive nose with aromas of black fruit, spices and flowers, and a full, fresh and harmonious palate. This critically acclaimed 2020 vintage is a real wine for laying down, ideal for accompanying dishes with character.
