Single Malt LONGROW Red 11 Years Tawny Port Cask Matured has spent 7 years in former bourbon barrels and then an additional 4 years in old Tawny Port casks.
Springbank showcases its extensive expertise in various types of maturation through this 2022 release, producing a total of 8,400 bottles for the entire world, making it a very limited series.
Upon nosing, you will detect beautiful notes of smoke, wood, delicate peat, oak, and caramel. The palate confirms these notes, with hints of hazelnut and tobacco joining this symphony of flavors.
Springbank is a historic distillery founded in 1828, and it's the fifth generation that continues to lead this Campbeltown distillery.
Springbank handles all stages of whisky production on-site. The distillery distributes its output under three different brands – Springbank, Hazelburn, and Longrow – each representing a distinct style of Single Malt.
