Description
Les Larmes Célestes 2023 is an original cuvée of sweet Pacherenc, produced by a second selection when the three stages of the late harvest did not meet Alain Brumont's criteria (Vendémiaire, Brumaire and Frimaire). This wine is made mainly from Petit Manseng grapes grown on 30 to 50 year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in vats at 18°C, followed by ageing on fine lees for 6 months. The result is a highly aromatic wine, with discreet sweetness balanced by rich acidity, offering finesse, lightness and elegance.
