Crozes Hermitage red Organic
Description
Domaine Gilles Robin presents its Papillon cuvée, a plot selection from the famous Crozes Hermitage appellation. The grapes used are organically-grown Syrah on red clay soils with pebbles on the surface. All the grapes are harvested by hand and then sorted using an optical sorting machine to select the best grapes. Crozes Hermitage Papillon Rouge is aged for 8 months in stainless steel vats.
The Papillon cuvée takes its name from the insect described as light and lively, like this particular Crozes Hermitage. This organic red wine from the Rhône Valley reveals a beautiful ruby colour once served. It has a nose of black fruits and a freshness on the palate, with supple tannins and slightly spicy black fruit flavours. Enjoy Papillon Rouge with grilled beef, charcuterie or mature cheeses.
